To avoid inconveniences, we inform you that, as required by the Transportation Security Administration, as of June 18, 2018, Aeromar will apply a new security measure for powdered substances according to the following :
1.-Passengers may not carry in their hand luggage powdered substances of more than 12 ounces (350 milliliters) (larger than a can of soda), for example:flour, sugar, ground coffee, spices, milk powder ( like the baby formula), and cosmetics. Powdered substances exceeding 12 ounces (350ml) will be removed by the security personnel at the inspection point.
2.Exceptions, the only powdered substances that passengers can carry as carry-on baggage, after security screening, are:
*Medicinally prescribed powder substances, baby formula and human remains
*Powdered goods purchased in the Duty Free within a security bag (Secure Tamper Evident Bag – STEB), which is provided by the seller.
*Powdered substances exceeding 12 ounces (350ml) may be transported in checked baggage, so we invite you to document any powdered substance at Aeromar counters.
Date of birth is required for minor passengers and infants. This is also requested for all passengers traveling to/from the USA and in accordance with the TSA Secure Travel program (Secure Flight -TSA) requiring passengers to provide: full name (as it appears in the current passport), gender and date of birth.
The government of the United States of America through the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires you to provide your full name, date of birth, complete passport number and sex for the purpose of observing the review of the lists, under the authority of U.S.C. 49 Section 114, Intelligence Reform and Prevention of Terrorism act of 2004 and C.F.R. 49 parts 1540 and 1560. You can also provide your “Redress Number”, if available. If you do not provide your full name, date of birth and sex, or if you provide false information, it may result in denial of transportation or the authorities refusing you entry into the boarding area. TSA may share information that you provide with law enforcement or intelligence agencies or others within its published record-keeping system. Are those personal items transported, free of charge, by the passenger under their custody and responsibility in the cabin of the aircraft.
It is allowed to carry in addition to the carry-on bag or handbag or laptop bag, one personal item per passenger that does not weigh more than 22 lbs. (10 kg) And whose dimensions do not exceed 8.7” x 15” x 25.6” (22 x 38 x 65 cm).
Is baggage that is transported under the responsibility of the Company and for which a receipt or label is issued for its claim and identification. Each passenger with a paid ticket is entitled to a baggage allowance, including accompanied and unaccompanied minors. For passengers connecting from another airline, you should consult the policy of the original airline.

1 piece of baggage that does not exceed 23 kg. (50 lbs.) And whose dimensions do not exceed 31” x 20” x 10”. (80 cm x 52 cm x 25 cm).
A fee of 116.00 pesos will be charged with Mexican National VAT included for each 2.2 lbs. (1 kg) of excess, with a limit of 44 lbs. (20 kg), additional to the allowed franchise.
A charge of USD 25 will be charged for each 2.2 lbs. (1 kg) from 52 lbs. (24 kg) for the first bag with a maximum of up to 99 lbs. (45 kg) and USD 100.00 with taxes included for the second checked bag for the first 48 lbs. (22 kg), Starting from kilograms 50 lbs. (23 kg) will be charged USD 25 for each additional 2.2 lbs. (1 kg) with a maximum of 99 lbs. (45 kg). This second suitcase will be subject to the capacity available in the baggage compartment and will be billed once the flight has been closed.
Passengers connecting from another airline should consult the policy of the original airline.

To purchase tickets at our counters at the McAllen and Austin, Texas airports, payments cannot be made with cash or check, they can only be made with VISA and MasterCard credit cards.
Notice regarding reimbursement request for ticket or segment not used
In order to request a reimbursement process for an unused ticket or voucher, simply help us by sending the following information to the following email addresses: email@example.com
The name of the passenger (as printed on your electronic ticket receipt).
The form of payment used (in the case of a credit or debit card, include the name and complete card number as well as the issuing bank and type of card).
The 13 digits that comprise your ticket number, all start with 942, otherwise your ticket is probably from another airline such that your refund cannot be processed with us.
The date of travel, as well as the city of origin and destination that are printed on your electronic ticket receipt.
The reservation code.
Contact information (full telephone number including area code and country code and alternate e-mail address).
Beginning immediately we will conduct an investigation to ensure that your ticket is eligible for reimbursement depending on the fare rules and airline policies that apply in each case, please note that tickets will be reimbursed using the original form of payment. If you need more information our accounting department will contact you. Requests for reimbursement must be made individually for each ticket within a reservation. Please bear in mind that as part of the process of requesting a refund you must first cancel the reservation of the passenger to whom the refund applies, this can be done via our reservation center by calling 5133 1111 in Mexico City, at 01800 237 6627 from the interior of the Mexican Republic or 1 855 237 6627 from the United States of North America. We remind you that in accordance with the regulations of the Department of Transportation of the United States of America, all passengers who purchase a ticket 7 days or more before the departure of the flight will be entitled to reimbursement without penalty for the ticket purchased for 24 hours following its purchase.
