To avoid inconveniences, we inform you that, as required by the Transportation Security Administration, as of June 18, 2018, Aeromar will apply a new security measure for powdered substances according to the following :
Passengers may not carry in their hand luggage powdered substances of more than 12 ounces (350 milliliters) (larger than a can of soda), for example: flour, sugar, ground coffee, spices, milk powder ( like the baby formula), and cosmetics. Powdered substances exceeding 12 ounces (350ml) will be removed by the security personnel at the inspection point.
Exceptions, the only powdered substances that passengers can carry as carry-on baggage, after security screening, are:
Medicinally prescribed powder substances, baby formula and human remains.
Powdered goods purchased in the Duty Free within a security bag (Secure Tamper Evident Bag – STEB), which is provided by the seller.
Powdered substances exceeding 12 ounces (350ml) may be transported in checked baggage, so we invite you to document any powdered substance at Aeromar counters.
